Had a great time at the Washington County Fair Grounds at the RallyCross this Sunday even though I didn't run. My codriver Tony did however as did our Vicious Bunny Racing team mates. I did get the green light to rebuild the car after it was inspected by race officials after our unfortunate roll over. Here are the picts and vids I got during the event:
Washington County RallyCross

The current plan for repair of the Attack Rabbit is to cut the roof of at the base of the A pillars and weld on the roof of the white Rabbit (I named Alice), I'll also be taking off the hood, passenger side fender and door off Alice to repair the Attack Rabbit. I'll be officially starting repair this week - the overall goal is to have the roof back on it and have it ship shape (as far as structural and rule compliance) for the annual inspection in January 05.

Wish us luck :) - have a good winter repair season!

There is light at the end of the tunnel. Here is the new Rabbit that will be kind enough to donate body parts to get the Rally Rabbit ship shape again! Click on a pict for a larger view!

MAJOR thanx to Roger Hudnut for sponsoring us with this body. You'll see stickers from his business on the Rabbit once it's back together in thanx!

Mt Hood Club Rally - wow - that some was some serious fun. We had some GREAT conditions to race in on Saturday with long sweeping turns and the most speed we've encountered in Stage Rally to date. Sunday we were off to a great start but rolled the Rally Rabbit directly after the flying finish of stage 3. Tony and I are fine and the car is totally fixable. I was even able to start the car again and it pulled itself into my garage under it's own power. This winter our plans currently contain: Welding on a new roof, a new passenger fender, new hood, new passenger door and some other light body work. Back on the normal schedule is a 2.0L ABA motor which is in my garage, a total rewire and a quaif for some limited slip!

If you have picts of us, both on our wheels or on our lid, please let me know!!! Here are the picts we currently have (damage included): Mt Hood Club Rally 2004

I wanted to give some shout outs to those to lent us their energy and hearts and helped Tony and I engage in such fun. Thanx to my codriver Tony, his girlfriend and willing invaluable help Jennifer our two new crew members who turned out to add great personality and assistance (probably more then they bargained for) Walt and Zoe and my crew chief Jessica Hahn! It wouldn't have been possible without these folks! Also thanks to those people I can't remember who pushed us back over and thanks to Matt Davis for towing us off the mountain after we rolled! It was great to see all the drivers and codrivers who stopped even though we had our ok sign out to see if we were really ok. Thanks all!!!

The June Rally Cross was a success! Only one real problem which involved a lifted truck rolling. Many Rabbits showed including my CoDriver and CrewChief who both beat me - bastards!

I have four small videos and pictures available here.
